Company Description: CyTwist was founded by a former General in Shin Bet (Israel?s FBI) who led their counterterrorism team for over a decade. In the mid-90?s he revolutionized how their counterterrorism organization works because the world changed (primarily geopolitical realities in Israel and mobile phone proliferation) and the old processes stopped working. His method is now broadly used in western countries, including the US, to stop terrorism. He and the other co-founders are now bringing that methodology to cyber where we stop and prevent damage from advanced attacks through early and accurate detection. ### ### Our method flips current models that rely on creating a defined set of alerts/IOCs, sifting through data (or using ai), trying to develop context/correlations for the alerts and chasing many false positives. The problem is that the bad guys know how current tools work, and so the advanced attackers use only benign activity/legitimate actions that do not trigger alerts. Given this reality, CyTwist?s method starts by using our experts and machines to develop millions of validated attack vectors that are updated in real time. We then use raw data, not alerts, to identify actions that fit the known, validated vectors (almost zero false positives). We are especially good at low and slow, attacks that occur over time. We have paying customers in Israel (banks, energy and telco) who have all seen us identify advanced attacks that their tier one tools missed.
