The seventh annual awards program recognizes the best of the region’s cybersecurity industry 

COLUMBIA - October 27, 2023 - The Cybersecurity Association of Maryland Inc. (CAMI), a regional membership association leading the advancement of cybersecurity through advocacy and collaboration, today announced the 2023 Cybersecurity Awards winners. These competitive awards recognize leading-edge cybersecurity products and services, along with change-makers and innovators, that contribute to our nation’s cybersecurity ecosystem. 

Award winners were unveiled during CAMI’s Annual Celebration on October 26 and include:

Ken Hlavacek, Maryland Department of Transportation
Patero, Cybersecurity Company to Watch Award
Dataprise, Cybersecurity Defender of the Year Award
University of Maryland, Global Campus, Cybersecurity Diversity Trailblazer Award
RackTop Systems, Cybersecurity Innovations of the Year Award
Morgan Adamski, NSA Cybersecurity Collaboration Center, Cyber Warrior Woman Award
Jovian Concepts, Government Contractor (<$50M) of the Year Award
CyberCore Technologies, Government Contractor ($50M+) of the Year Award
Agile Care Enterprises, People’s Choice Award
Minerva Cyber Technologies, Best of Anne Arundel County
Towson University Center for Interdisciplinary & Innovative Cybersecurity, Best of Baltimore County
DigiFlight, Best of Howard County

In total, 70 nominations were considered across 9 categories for the 2023 Cybersecurity Awards. Entries were evaluated by 12 independent judges who play significant roles in the cybersecurity and technology industries.

CAMI is Maryland's only organization dedicated to advancing cybersecurity through advocacy and collaboration. Additionally, CAMI provides free cybersecurity incident response advice to Maryland businesses with its Cyber SWAT Team, composed of select organization members.
