Melanie Kelleher

Melanie Kelleher is a marketing and philanthropic professional with a diverse background spanning marketing, fundraising, communications, and program strategy. With two decades of experience across various sectors including technology, manufacturing, professional services, nonprofits, and higher education she brings a wealth of expertise to her current role as the Director of Corporate Relations at Towson University (TU).
At TU, Melanie spearheads the development and execution of engagement strategies aimed at securing corporate support for the institution's overarching objectives and programmatic initiatives. Prior to her tenure at TU, Melanie held prominent positions in several organizations such as overseeing client services at regional marketing agencies, leading Economic Gardening engagements for the Lowe Foundation, consulting for nonprofits, and as a founding member of the Greater Baltimore Technology Council.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Melanie actively engages in volunteer work with many notable organizations including the Cybersecurity Association, Inc. (formerly CAMI), Maryland Tech Council’s Baltimore Regional Chapter, the Network of Academic Corporate Relations Officers, and the Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital.
Melanie's academic journey includes a bachelor's degree from Loyola University, Maryland, and a Master of Science in Marketing from the Johns Hopkins Carey School of Business.
