Company Description: The CCBC Cybersecurity Institute offers a broad and flexible range of degree, certificate and non-credit certification course options to prepare individuals for exciting cybersecurity careers in a number of industries, among them health care, finance, education, government, defense and manufacturing. ### ### CCBC students can earn an Associate of Applied Science degree in one of three majors: Cybersecurity (formerly, Information Systems Security); Network Technology; and, Digital Forensics ### ### In addition, CCBC offers a 16-week Accelerated Stackable Credentials Series ? required for work on government networks ? leading to industry certifications in Network +, Security +, Operating Systems Security, and Ethical Hacking and Systems Defense. ### ### Student-driven Cyber Club and Women in STEM programs have been established at CCBC to promote and foster relationships with industry leaders in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering and Engineering Technology. ### ### CCBC also maintains a high commitment to the military community, having made the Military Times? Best Colleges lists for three years ? 2014, 2017 and 2018 ? because of its excellence in providing a variety of educational and other services for veterans, including access to Veterans Resource Centers on three campuses (Catonsville, Dundalk and Essex), military-connected resources, affordable tuition, and rigorous academic programs that utilize veterans? existing knowledge while preparing them for career advancement, new professions, or workforce training. ### ### The National Security Agency (NSA) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) have designated the Community College of Baltimore County as a Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense Two-Year Education.
